If you have a serious interest in the arts, creative industries
and culture, the New York Arts Program can introduce you
to the world of established art and media professionals
and organizations in New York City, advance your creative
and critical skills, and immerse you in a diverse ecology
of concepts and practices.

During your semester at NYAP, you won't be a visitor- you
will be a New Yorker- a participant in this complex,
fast-past city.  Through your work and social interaction
you will learn how to navigate the city's streets and its
wealth of cultural opportunities.  The mixture of cultures,
ethnicities, economic circumstances, and the variety of
creative endeavors, from the traditional to the
ground-breaking will inspire new ideas and perspectives
on your work, your education and your choices.
