Artist Talk: Shadi Hourouni

Shadi Harouni is a visual artist who works in site-specific sculpture, installation, printmaking photography and film.  Shadi holds a MFA from NYU and a BA from USC. Her work has been exhibited internationally, including at the Kunstmuseum Bonn, Germany, The Prague City Gallery in the Cech Republic and Queens Museum in New York City. She has been awarded numerous grants, fellowships and residencies, including the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture, where she also served as interim director this last summer, and Civitella Ranieri in Italy. Shadi is also a professor and Director of Undergraduate Studies in Studio Art at NYU.
